Who am I?
I am a private English teacher based in Poland, specialising in helping adults build confidence and fluency in real-life communication. Originally from Manchester and having lived in London, I bring authentic British English into every lesson, with a focus on natural speech and everyday language.
CELTA-trained, I use modern, communicative methods that prioritise speaking, practical use, and real-world results. I began my career at Speed School in Bielsko-Biała, where I later became Head Teacher, before running my own English school in Kraków for eight years.
Now based in Tarnów, I offer both face to face and online lessons. I work with professionals and adults preparing for work, travel, or life abroad—providing clear guidance, targeted practice, and ongoing support.

- In your first lesson, I will confirm your level and course plan, making any necessary adjustments to ensure everything is fully tailored to your needs.

Do I have to pay for cancellations?
No, unless you cancel three hours or less before the scheduled lesson.
Do I have to pay for the lessons in advance?
No, most students pay at the end of each lesson. Students who require an invoice, pay at the end of each month.
How do I pay for the lessons?
Directly into my Polish business bank account. I'll send you my account number after the first full lesson. You can only pay cash for face-to-face lessons.
Is there an extra cost if I need an invoice?
No, the price is the same.
Do I pay VAT for the lessons?
No, English lessons are exempt from VAT.
Can my company pay for the lessons?
Yes, invoices are sent at the end of each month and emailed to you directly for you to forward directly to your accounting department.
Do I get the same time every week?
Yes, unless you state otherwise. I'm very flexible.
